Terms of use
Last updated: October 23, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and 2570671 Ontario Inc. ("we", "us") about using Tally. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
1. Who can use it
You must be at least the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into a contract. If you use the app for a business, you confirm you can agree to these terms for that business.
2. Your account
Give accurate information when you sign up and keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at alkarim.jadavji@gmail.com if you think someone else has accessed it.
3. Your data
You own the information you enter. You give us permission to store, copy and process it only as needed to run the app for you. You're responsible for having the right to enter your clients' information and for following privacy laws that apply to how you use it. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.
4. What the app is and isn't
Tally is a record-keeping tool. It is not a payment processor, bank, or accounting or tax software. It doesn't move money, check that payments arrived, or send messages for you. You're responsible for confirming that payments, balances and reminders are correct. We recommend downloading a backup from Settings regularly.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use the app to break the law, send spam or harassing messages, store information you have no right to keep, or try to get into other people's accounts or interfere with the service.
6. Changes to the app
We may add, change or remove features, or pause or end the service. We'll try to give reasonable notice of major changes, and time to download your data if we end the service. If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you before you're ever charged.
7. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
8. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue, lost data or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim about the app is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using the app at any time and delete your account and data from Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other people at risk.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll also tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
